Namibia & Botswana Rental
My partner and I rented a 4x4 Toyota Hilux with a rooftop tent from Make Tracks. We went for 4 weeks from mid November to mid December around Namibia, into Botswana, and back to Windhoek. The owner JT is incredibly friendly and helpful, and goes far out of his way to assist you with anything that you need. You really feel looked after with the service provided here. The vehicle itself was fantastic. It was in very good condition, fun to drive, and clean. JT explained all of the camping equipment before we left, and the setup was awesome. Everything that you might need is there for you, and we had a blast driving and camping in the bush through 2 countries with this setup. I often do lots of comparing prices and reviews before picking a rental car, and can honestly write that you will not find a better company in the area. The pricing and service are top notch. Perfect car for a magnificent country
Just came back from an amazing 16 days self-drive safari in Namibia, which is about a memory that will accompany us for a lifetime. Even if at the beginning we were anixous because it was our first stay in Africa, the trip was an absolute dream. We hired a Toyota 4x4 with rooftop tent and full camping equipment from Make Tracks, this is not a big company but one feels the difference immediately in terms of the level of personal, friendly and professional services provided. The service we got from JT was exceptional, the communication like a breeze, we were picked up at the airport, and had a very complete explanation about the car and camping equipement. The vehicle was in excellent condition and a pleasure to drive. The camping equipment had been well thought through so that we had everything we might need for enjoying the trip. Excellent experience!
Very happy with our experience with make tracks. the vehicle was in perfect condition, equipped with two spare wheels. We covered 2800km in two weeks, two thirds of which were on the track, without any problems. JT, our rental company, was very attentive, available and accommodating for the drop-off and pick-up of the vehicle (he even offered us a refrigerator which was not planned, at no extra cost). Trusted agency that I will recommend to friends and family. The vehicle was very reliable throughout the stay. Whether on the many gravel roads, on stones or in the sand, we encountered no problems. Sleep in the tent is quality, small mattresses, sleeping bag and additional blankets ensuring optimal comfort. The camping equipment is useful and in our case, brand new. The fridge is also efficient. Good autonomy and above all, keeps food very fresh. Very available, the rental company is also welcoming and accommodating. He also arranged airport transfers for us! Best and cheapest agence we found
We had a super great experience with this compagny to rent a 4x4 in Namibia. The owner was very kind and very avaible at anytime. Wonderful experience with Make Tracks! The car was working perfectly, the camping equipment was also in a perfect state. We experienced really cold nights, but thanks to the good sleeping bags and heavy blanket, we could sleep easily. Bbq and cooking gear also really good. agenza di nolleggio 4x4 sicura e a buon prezzo!
Dopo una lunga serie di preventivi e miriadi di mail mandate ad agenzie di noleggio 4x4 in Namibia, mi sono imbattuto in Make Tracks, il più onesto (e basso) dei prezzi fino a quel momento. Quindi ho cominciato a fargli una serie di domande riguardanti gli optional compresi nel nolleggio della geep. Non mancava nulla (gas, frigor elettrico, tenda rulf top da due posti, compresi di sacco a pelo, cuscini e lenzuola, posate, stoviglie, bicchieri e posate, ruota di scorta). Al primo incontro ci ha spiegato per bene e con molta pazienza il funzionamento del mezzo e del montaggio tenda.
